Sporting-Dreams is a fairly unique operation that takes the research and arranging out of your hands and places it in ours. Instead of wondering whether your experience will be what you are hoping for you can actually talk first hand to someone who has already experienced the same trip personally and knows all the tricky procedures from arriving and checking guns and tackle in at airports and customs to transfers from airports to the chosen fishing or hunting venues. Anyone choosing one of the Sporting-Dreams offered will be accompanied by one of the team, from the moment we meet at the airport, throughout the experience, to the moment we say goodbye at the end of the trip in England.
Sporting dreams came about when a friend asked me to arrange a 'once in a lifetime' fishing trip for her husband's 40th. I trawled the Internet and decided that his treat could be fishing for one of the world's largest freshwater fish, the mighty White Sturgeon. The trip was an outstanding success with lots of sturgeon caught, culminating with a 7 footer caught and landed by him on the Harrison River in British Columbia, Canada.
This led to me thinking to what I would like for my 40th; my dream was to fish for and catch the amazing, hard fighting Tiger Fish of the African rivers, and then hunt and shoot an African Antelope. I realised both dreams and made some outstanding contacts and friends whilst in Africa.
With both experiences researched and organised by myself and 2 very close fishing and shooting buddies, I realised that there were probably lots of people like us that wanted a truly amazing fishing or shooting experience, that 'once in a lifetime trip' and consequently the idea of Sporting-Dreams was born.
